Benchtop Freeze Dryers

Available in 2.5 and 4.5 liter sizes, -50C and -84C.

The compact design is ideal for labs with limited floor space.

The upright stainless steel collector coil holds 2.5 or 4.5 liters of ice before defrosting. A single 1/3 hp HCFC/CFC-free refrigeration system cools the collector.

Lyo-Works™ OS provides a real time display of collector temperature, vacuum level and optional End-Zone™ end point detection system, shown on a 5" full color, capacitive touch screen. Models with PTFE-coated collectors that can withstand corrosive compounds are available.

6 Liter Console Freeze Dryers

Console Freeze Dryers are designed for large sample loads or numerous small container batches. The console features a front viewing window, interior space for a vacuum pump, and accommodation for a large tray dryer such as the FreeZone Stoppering Tray Dryers (pump and tray dryer sold separately). These models offer the broadest range of built-in options including a shell freezer.

The upright stainless steel collector coil holds 6 liters of ice before defrosting. A single 3/4 hp HCFC/CFC-free refrigeration system cools the collector to -50° C (-58° F) suitable for aqueous samples or two 1/3 hp HCFC/CFC-free refrigeration systems cool the collector to -84° C (-119° F), suitable for low eutectic point samples including acetonitrile.

Lyo-Works™ OS provides a real time display of collector temperature, vacuum level and optional End-Zone™ end point detection system, shown on a 5" full color, capacitive touch screen. Models with PTFE-coated collectors that can withstand corrosive compounds are available.

6 Liter Console Freeze Dryers with Stoppering Tray Dryers

Console Freeze Dryers with Stoppering Tray Dryers are designed for lyophilizing moderate to large loads and stoppering vials or serum bottles under vacuum. The console features a front viewing window and interior space for a vacuum pump (sold separately).

The console's upright stainless steel collector coil holds 6 liters of ice before defrosting. A single 3/4 hp HCFC/CFC-free refrigeration system cools the collector to -50° C (-58° F), suitable for aqueous samples or two 1/3 hp HCFC/CFC-free refrigeration systems cool the collector to -84° C (-119° F), suitable for low eutectic point samples including acetonitrile.

The Stoppering Tray Dryer features three 16.5" x 12" processing shelves. A single 1 hp HCFC/CFC-free refrigeration system and 1000-watt electric heater cool and heat the fluid medium circulating through channels in the shelves.

-85 C, -121 F Freeze Dryers

Benchtop Freeze Dryers are designed for multiple types of lyophilization: flask, bulk and stoppering vials. With the ability to freeze dry samples in so many different forms, the Triad's versatility and compact design make it perfect for busy labs.

The upright stainless steel collector coil holds 2.5 liters of ice before defrosting. Two 1/3 hp HCFC/CFC-free refrigeration compressors cool the collector to -85° C (-121° F), suitable for aqueous or dilute acetonitrile samples. Temperature-controlled shelves range from -55° C to +50° C (-67° F to +122° F) and a maximum of -75° C (-103° F) during pre-freezing. The shelves provide pneumatic stoppering with a diaphragm, eliminating the need for compressed gas.
